Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) grant agreement with the University of Iowa Labor Center to administer the Quality Preapprenticeship Program (QPP). Councilor Taylor suggested hosting one at Pheasant Ridge in November, Councilor Taylor and Councilor Thomas agreed to attend. Councilor Harmsen and Councilor Bergus volunteered for February’s Listening Post, and Mayor Pro Tem Alter volunteered herself and Mayor Teague for May’s Listening Post pending Teague’s acceptance.  October 13 – no discussion. City Manager Fruin noted that the curb ramps were an ongoing project that is looked at annuals to do maintenance and repairs with focus on older parts of town where there were no curb ramps when the streets and sidewalks were built. Councilor Weiner noted item 6.a, Rezoning - 937 E Davenport St - Local Historic Landmark. Motion to approve items 2 - 7. Moved by J. Weiner, seconded by P. Taylor. Motion Passed.
