Dear Sarah:
It is with heartfelt regret, I must inform you and the other members of the Board of Adjustment that I need to
resign from the board. I have really enjoyed my participation with the Board these last few years but my job
duties in Washington D.C. and South Africa require a level of commitment and travel which is significantly
reducing my time in Iowa City. I will remain a citizen of Iowa City as I will continue to commute between Iowa City
and the East Coast. I will continue to monitor activities of the board and the City Council, and hope that one day
in the future I can become more involved in local affairs again. All the best and please let me know if I can ever
be of service to you and our local government.
