Discussion on the utilization of ARPA-SLRF dollars for Climate Action related project City Manager Fruin provided information. Climate Action Coordinator Gardner presented Council with the Climate Action Commission's recommendations. Individual Council members expressed their views. Action: Staff will engage the Climate Action Commission in a discussion regarding potential uses for approximately$500k in ARPA-SLRF funds. Those recommendations will eventually be captured in meeting minutes, but staff will also present them later this year when the Council begins to discuss ARPA funding for Climate Action in more detail. 4. Determine City Council representatives (1 or 2) for the ARPA underestimated business grant program review committee Mayor Teague introduced this item and Council requested to have just one representative. Council agreed to have Mayor Teague to be the City Council's representative. 5. Discussion on the ICCSD pre-school funding request and the childcare wage enhancement program Councilor Bergus provided information form a meeting of the Childcare Coalition and representatives from the school district regarding collaboration between the pre-school funding request and the childcare wage enhancement program. Clarification of Agenda Items ➢ Item 7.a, Rezoning — JJR Davis Second Addition and JJR Davis Fourth Addition, Councilor Bergus asked for clarification regarding the correspondence included in the March 21 agenda packet and if those items would be carried forward to the April 4'" public hearing item. City Clerk Fruehling noted that the current procedure would not carry them forward. Individual Council members expressed their views. Action: The City Clerk will include all received correspondence regarding the JJR Davis (Dane) rezoning in the April 1 meeting packet. 7. (IP5 — Pending City Council Work Session Topics) Councilor Thomas requested to bring Orchard Sub-District and Rochester Avenue Natural Areas be added to the pending work session topics. Action: City Council agreed to add the two items to the Pending Work Session List. 2. (IP6 — Memo for Director of Parks & Recreation and City Manager: Consultant Selection Process for City Park Pool) City Manager Fruin provided Council with information on the Consultant Selection process for City Park Pool.
