To whom it may concern,
For the past year I have had the privilege of serving the Iowa City community as a member of HCDC.
Effective August 1 st, I am no longer a resident of Iowa and fail to meet the bylaw requirements to serve
the committee. For this reason, I am giving formal notice of my resignation from the HCDC to staff and
city council effective immediately. I would like to thank the staff and committee for the opportunity to
serve alongside them, and wish to offer support in the transition process if necessary while my seat is
being filled. Sincerely,
George Kivarkis
