PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE
The City of Iowa City plans to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to
be covered under the NPDES General Permit No. 2 -Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities. The storm water discharge will be from construction activities associated with Iowa City Wastewater
Treatment Facility Digester Complex Rehabilitating – Phase 1 Project located at 4366 Napoleon Street SE, Iowa City, Iowa 52240 in the NE 1/4 of Section 35, Township 79 North, Range 6 West, Johnson County,
Iowa.
Storm water will be discharged to an unnamed tributary to the Iowa River. The public may obtain further information or request to
review the NOI after it has been received by the department at https://programs.iowadnr.gov/stormwater/,
