Call to Order
Welcome and Introductions
1. Public Comments (10 minutes)
2. Update on Individual Disaster Assistance Programs by President Jennifer Banta of
United Way of Johnson & Washington County and Program Manager Debbie Ackerman
with HACAP. (Coralville)
3. Discussion on current Crisis Response Programs and exploration of opportunities to
further collaborate. (Iowa City)
4. Joint County Health Departments measles information campaign. (Coralville)
5. Timeframe reminder for City/School Elections for 2025. (Johnson County)
Primary Cities (Iowa City, University Heights)
o Filing period: 8/11-8/28
o Iowa City At -large candidates need 166 signatures
o Iowa City District B candidates need 127 signatures
o University Heights needs 10 signatures
o If a primary is triggered, the primary vote will be Tuesday, October 7tn
Non -Primary Cities (all others)
o Filing period: 8/25-9/18
o Coralville and North Liberty need 50 signatures
o Solon and Tiffin need 25 signatures
o Hills, Lone Tree, Oxford, Shueyville, and Swisher need 10 signatures
School Boards
o Information is available on the Auditor's Website:

Affidavit of Candidacy and Nomination Petition forms are available on the
Auditor's Website: https://www.aohnsoncountyiowa.gov/november-4-2025-city-and-
school-election or stop by the office.
Nomination Petition must have signatures from eligible electors.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
