As previously discussed, the Iowa City Kickers would like to
request time at the January 28, 1997 council meeting to present a
check for further development of the South Water Treatment site
soccer fields. They would like to appear as early as possible on
the agenda. They will be committing $100,000 to this development,
$40,000 on the 28th, $30,000 Fall of 1997 and $30,000 spring of
1998. Tom DePrenger, president and Don Anciaux, executive director
of Iowa City Kickers will be making the presentation. They would
request that they make some brief comments, background, etc. and
then present a check to the mayor. If you need any additional
information or the date or time needs to change, please let me
know. Thanks for you assistance.
