Iowa City-appointed members of boards and commissions must be eligible electors of the City of Iowa City. When possible, Council will appoint persons with expertise in construction and/or finance, a person receiving rental assistance, and a member of the Local Homeless Coordinating Board. The Housing and Community Development Commission will have monthly meetings.
