Special Work Session & formal meetings

City Manager Atkins and Planning and Community Development Director Franklin presented
information regarding proposed downtown projects and the local option sales tax.
Council developed the following list of proposed uses of a local option sales tax:
FLIP CHART:
Water relief
Library/CenterSpace
Property tax
Capital improvements (miscellaneous)
Public safety
Downtown improvements
Public transportation
Community enhancements
Bond retirement
Operating expenses
Housing fund
Human services
City Manager Atkins stated he will provide further information based on Council direction.
Council agreed to begin their April 6 informal work session at 6:00 PM.
