served this nation in times. of both peace and war, and in doing so
have thereby assured o~r independence, and

emotional scars of war, have most surely e~am. ed our gratituae ~or
the many personal sacrifices they have made m our behalf, and

twenty-thlr~consecutlve year, have organized .a national day
tribute hono~g .all hospitalized veter~-~ w~th the purpose o~
urging all Americans to remember these men and women,

which is '~Servlce to Mankind," has adopted a Freedom Week
Program dedicated to the re-emphasis of the values and
responslhilities of people in a free society, and
~[~r~ag, $ertoma International has promoted the distribution of copies
of the Bill o~ Rights and the Declaration of Independence
throughout its entire membership of Clubs, and
~[~r~g, the Old Capitol Sertoraa Club of Iowa City is planning to
carry out special paSotic activities in the form of the National
Heritage Essay Contest during the 1996 Freedom Week, and
~rl~l~g, it seems proper and fitting to accord official recognition to
this patriotic movement.
