I have a great love and respect for local government and the people it serves. This Commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m and, if necessary, the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Iowa City appointed members of the boards and commissions must be eligible electors of the City of Iowa City. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2004. The City of Iowa City encourages diversity in the appointment of citizens to boards and commissions.
