~1t)~1~, the Iowa City/Johnaon County Senior Center is a catalyst for
mobilizing the creativity, energy, vitality, and commitment of Iowa
City/Johnson County older residents; and
~htrt~l~, tltrough the wide array of services, programs, and activities,
the Senior Center empowers older citizens to contribute to their
ow- health and well-being and the well-being of their fellow
citizens of all ages; and
~§trr~ig, the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center affirms the
dignity, self-worth, and independence of older persons by
facilitati,~g their decisions and actions; tapping their experiences,
sl~lh, and knowledge; and enabling their continued contributions
to the community;

selflessly on behalf of the people of this Nation, regardless of the
peril or hazard to themselves; and

fellow Americans; and

our country internal freedom from fear of the violence and civil
disorder that is presently affecting other nations; and

dedicated efforts, have earned the gratitude of the Republic;
