Comment: This resolution will increase the maximum depository balance at four institutions. This resolution will also update the name of Perpetual Savings Bank, FSB. We are recommending that the investment limit at First National Bank Iowa; Magna Bank, NA; Hawkeye State Bank; and Norwest Bank Iowa NA be increased to $20,000,000, $35,000,000, $15,000,000, and $50,000,000, respectively. Limits at depositories need to be raised to ensure that we receive the best rates for investments and to cover the increase in the volume of investments due to bond issuances. Perpetual Savings Bank, FSB is now Commercial Federal Bank. Our depository resolution needs to reflect this name change. Attached is Exhibit A which shows current investment limits and balances on deposit at the various institutions as of June 5, 1998. Setting Public Hearings.
