under Captain Miller's leadership, the Salvation Army has
.risen to a reeogn~ed lea~rsbp role, not only through visible
unpzovemants to its facility for se.;n~ the eommunity's needy, 10ut
also t.[u'ou~h its strategies for responcl~ing to community-wide
emergencies, and
~redt~, Captain Miller, in her mini~t~,, has affected the lives and
sl~rit of thousands of ~eople titrough the services and programs
she has established during her tenure, and
Captain Miller carried on a family tradition of service in the
~alvatlon Army, being.t~e ~i~ generation of her father's family
and the four~ generation of her
mother's family to serve in the
~alvation A~-~, and
~ltjerea~, Captain Mallet will soon be leavin~ our Comm,,--itr tO take a
position in Lansing, ~iclzlgau, we wish to to~e this opport~,nlty to
congratulate her on her promotion and to ex~rreas our heartfelt
