Dear Susan:
This will confirm my resignation as a member of the library's
board of trustees effective August 1, 1998.
I have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from my association with
the board, the library administration, and its staff. The
community is fortunate to have such an outstanding public service
facility in the form of its public library. My resignation is
simply to allow another of its many supporters and users an
opportunity to contribute their voice and energies to the
library's endeavorS.
I would like to thank you, your st~f, and the library board of
trustees for their efforts on behalf of the community and for
making my tenure on the board so rewarding.
