Housin.q Policy Discussion Facilitator Tim Shields laid the groundwork for pertinent issues relating to housing policies. PCD Director Franklin and Housing Director Boothroy presented information and responded to questions. The Councfi agreed to explore inclusionaxy zoning to include: a) Incentives b) Mixed income c) Requirements d) Land trusts e) Zoning requirements The Councfi agreed to study the F~h- Share concept, (i.e., geographical distribution of low to moderate income housing). 3. The Council agreed to review the criteria guidelines for density. 4. The Council agreed to .-~lyze the long term viability of programs/goals. The Councfi agreed to establish a comm,,-tty procegs to ftu~er develop the housing polloy, to include. a) Neighborhoed Associations and other key players b) Colie~tlng pertinent information and perceptions c] Stud~lng and aharing information The council agreed to discuss potent!-I p~blic/private partnerships in depth.
