~[~l~,. the Coldren Retirement Residence has operated since 1910 to
prowde elderly persons a comfortable place to call home; and
~, the 120 year old building housing ~e Col&en Retirement
Residan~e was recently rehabilitatedusing federal and state funds and will
be rededicated on September 10, 1995; and
~t~, Iowa City recognizes that the Coldten Retirement Residence is a
non-profit organization in partnership with local government and other
COmmunit~ organizations, and relies heavily on the dedication and
goodwill of thei~ combined efforts; and
~l~llg, the .~f.eek of Septern~. e.r. 3-10, 1995, has been designated as a time
of recognition and appreciation of the Coldr~n Retirement Residence;
~.~a~, ~[.~[~, I, Susan M. Horowitz, Mayor of the City of Iowa.City,
Iowa, do hereby proclaim the week of Septembe~ 3-10, 1995, to l~e
