COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF COUNCIL ACTIVITIES
OCTOBER 10, 1995
Iowa City City Gie~., special meeting, 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. Mayor Horowitz
presiding. Council Members present: Horowitz, Kubby, Lehman, Novick, Pigott, Throgmorton.
Absent: Baker· Staff members present: Atkins, Helling, Woito, Karr, Holecek. Council minutes

Moved by Pigott, seconded by Novick, to adjourn to executive session to discuss
strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent
where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the
governmental body in that litigation. Affirmative roll call vote unanimous, 6/0, Baker absent.
The Mayor declared the motion carried and adjourned into executive session 6:37 p.m.
Council returned to open session 7:28 p.m.
Moved by Pigott, seconded by Kubby, to adjourn the special meeting 7:30 p.m. The
Mayor declared the motion carried unanimously, 6~0, Baker absent.
