Subject: Police Citizens Review Board application
Good afternoon Council Members,
I would like my past application considered for the vacant Police Citizens Review Board position.
Please let me know if you would like me to submit a new application for this vacancy.
I have some additional experience and knowledge that I believe can be utilized on the PCRB. These additions are:
· I have completed an internship with the Iowa City Police Department during my senior year at the University of Iowa;
· My professional experience as a program manager allows me to view each situation in an analytical manner without
bias;
· I am in the process of reviewing past agendas and meeting minutes of Police Citizens Review Board meetings;
· I have lived in Iowa City for almost 32 years and feel I have a good grasp of Iowa City and what is acceptable;
I know applications need to be submitted by 5 PM 8/10/05. Please feel free to instruct me to resubmit my application if
you feel it to be necessary.
Thank you,
Michael Larson, PMP
