Jane and I have purchased a new home just north of Iowa City and will therefor no longer be residing in Iowa City, which I understand is a condition of membership. I have just completed the fourth year of my second term on the Commission and had fully intended to complete that term, but our relocation makes that impossible. I have very much enjoyed my terms on the Commission, working with fellow commissioners, the excellent city staff and the Council and wish to offer my appreciation for the opportunity to have served in this capacity as a citizen of the community. I was happy to do initial research with Frank Gersh on the Governor-Lucas conservation district guidelines and see progress made on the Longfellow Historic District. It was also a pleasure working with you and the staff at the City Offices as well. It' there are situations having to do with the College Green Historic District in the future, I would be happy to be of assistance that I can.
