Dear Mayor Fausett:
The Iowa City City Co~cil appreciates the City of Coralville's effo~s to create a more
attractive gateway into our community t~ough plans to build a conference center and
hotel in the old industrial park. ~ addition to cle$ing up ~ eye-sore, o~ region has
long needed ~eater capacity in meeting space and hotel options. Org~izing meetings of
size has been a tremendous challenge. Coralville's proposed facility will help host
meetings and conferences that we would have had to send elsewhere due to space
constraints.
Bringing more visitors to our comm~ity by providing more options in hospitality, and
by showcasing o~ ~ea, will benefit us all.

Vision Iowa for support from their and Tourism program. We
appreciate Coralville's effod to gateway into our community
through plans to build a conference in the old industrial park.
