To annually certify the amount of taxes within the limitations of the Statutes of the State of Iowa to be levied for Airport purposes. All funds derived from taxation or otherwise for airport purposes shall be under the full and absolute control of the Airport Commission, deposited with the City Treasurer, and disbursed only on the written warrants or order of the Airport Commission. I am not a private pilot, although years ago I did take lessons. My interest in local goverrnment and citizen involvement extends to having commissions fully filled.
