VOTING PRECINCTS IN IOWA CITY; AND SECTION 1 -5 -1 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, ESTABLISHING THE
VOTING PRECINCTS THAT COMPRISE THE THREE CITY COUNCIL
DISTRICTS IN IOWA CITY.

Wright/ I would like to offer thanks to staff for all the work that went into this and working with
the County's Auditor's office to get the balance and all those precincts. It had to be quite
a chore.
Karr/ This was the first year we had the availability of the GIS system and the Auditor's office
was great and we acknowledge their service and they are here tonight for questions and
it's great you don't have any.
(laughter)
Champion/ I love the map too that showed the current and the new.
Wright/ Yep. It was very easy to read through it all.
Karr/ Great, thank you.
Champion/ I was glad to see I wasn't ousted.
Hayek/ Yet. (laughter)I appreciate the collaboration and this appears to have been a very fair
and deliberate process. Logical one, very sense(able). Item 4.
