Dear Marian Karr:
The results of the City Election held on November 8, 2011 were certified
at the official canvass on November 15, 2011 by the Johnson County Board of
Supervisors. Enclosed with this letter is the official Abstract of Votes. We
mailed a letter, Qualification of Officer form, Certification of Election, and copies
of the open meeings law to each newly elected official. The deadline for the
newly elected officials to take their oaths is the start of the term, January 3`d
2012. The Qualification of Officer forms will be filed with you after completion.
You may want to consider asking the newly elected officials to take their oaths
before the deadline, in the event an officer is out of town over the holidays.
