Sarah,
I spoke with Jim who reminded me that he consulted the city attorney on this issue before he ran for election. That said,
I send this note as a letter of resignation from the Board of Adjustment. I appreciate all I've learned about the good
work of city staff and the different challenges facing Iowa Citians.
Best wishes,
Barbara

Subject: BOA and UniverCity Committee
Barbara,
I have not heard back from the City Attorney regarding your service on the UniverCity committee.
If you have decided not to seek clarification on the BOA issue, I would need you to submit a letter (e -mail is fine) of
resignation from the Board of Adjustment. This will allow us to post the vacancy in order to have a new member in place
by February.
Please let me know what you plan to do.
Thanks.
