6/01/98 T/C - Broadway Apt. area concern {referred to Police Dept.}
6/05/98 T/C - apparent racially motivated incident. I explained PCRB
process; offered to send a complaint form, he said 'no thanks;'
I told him where he could pick one up.
6/05/98 T/C - Complaint about alleged Police Department rudeness. I
explained PCRB process and complaint form was sent to her.
6/05/98 T/C - Officers are allegedly 'instigating racial discord.' I sent a
complaint form to her.
6/12/98 In Office - complainant came to office to express her concern
and complaint was subsequently filed that day.
6/12/98 T/C - relative of above complainant called (prior to
complainant's visit) to express same concerns; explained to her
where she could pick up complaint forms.
6/15/98 T/C - request for community forum information.
6/15/98 T/C - complaint regarding alleged racially motivated stop &
search of her minor son. t explained the PCRB process to her.
On 6/19/98 she came to the office and picked up a complaint
form.
6/19/98 T/C - request for forum information.
6/26/98 In Office - gentleman came to office requesting name of
complainant who filed 12 complaints. I explained confidentiality
rules to him and the PCRB process in general. He voiced his
praise of the Iowa City Police Department.
6/26/98 T/C - request for forum information.
6/30/98 T/C - wanted to know if forum was going to be rescheduled.
