8-14-98 T/C from a woman who was asking whether a complaint or a
letter would have more affect with the PCRB. My response
included the procedure for each. She already had a complaint
form so I did not send one to her.
8-14-99 T/C from a woman who lives in Fairfax, alleging complaints of
ongoing harassment from the Iowa City Police Department, to
include alleged improper searches, threats and being followed.
explained the PCRB procedure and sent her a complaint form.
8-17-98 T/C from a woman about setting an appointment to discuss a
complaint. 1 left a telephone message at the number she left,
To-date, I have not heard back from her.
8-18-98 T/C from a gentleman who requested the name and phone
number of the PCRB Chair.
8-21-98 Office Contact - a gentleman visited the office. He wanted to
know what the PCRB does. He also had comments regarding
the Shaw matter. I explained the process, including the forums
and ways to contact board members.
