Upon berg caught subject was taken to ground and handcuffed. 24 11-05 99-910436 Vehicle Pursuit Subject fled in vehicle from officer who used lights and siren to try and stop the fleeing car. 86 11-06 99-910508 Injured Deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidearm. 19 11-06 99-910523 Fight Officer exposed subject to OC when that person refused to stop fighting with another subject. 9 11-07 99-910548 Injured deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidearm. 26 11-08 99-910618 Intoxicated Subject Subject under arrest refused to enter squad car and had to be pushed inside. Subject then began kicking vehicle windows so had to be removed from vehicle and secured with restraints. 42,23,43,49,98 11-09 99-910644 Arrest Warfarin' SRT officers displayed various ,25,85 weapons upon making contact with subject who had an arrest warrant and who had used firearms in the past. Subject was cuffed without incident. 55,26,60 11-09 99-910627 Intoxicated Subject Officers confronted two intoxicated subjects who then resisted arrest. Officers took one subject to the ground to gain control but then had to use OC as subject continued to struggle. 19, 45 11-10 99-910674 Juvenile Arrest Juvenile pulled away and tried to flee from officers. Officers took subject to the ground and handcuffed same. 46 11-10 99-910678 Injured Deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidearm. 22 I l-11 99-910696 Mental Subject Officer assisting DPS at Psych Hospital grasped subjects arm and assisted iu cuffing of subject who was flailing a OFFICER DATE CASE # INCIDENT FORCE USED bicycle seat shaft. 11 11-14 99-910802 Intoxicated Subject Subject was interfering with the arrest of another individual. When told he was under arrest subject began to resist. Officer grasped subject and placed him on ground to gain control and to handcuff. 22, 8, 58, 42 11-14 99-910817 Disturbance Subject refused to display hands to officers who were concerned about possible weapons. Officers then grabbed subject. Subject then fought with officers who had to use OC, which had no effect. Eventually subject was cuffed but he had to have leg restraints applied as he continued to kick at officers. 30 11-16 99-910875 Criminal Subject involved in trespass incident Trespass/Mental ignored officer. Officer had to grasp subject to keep him in one place in order to speak with him and inform him to leave. 2, 17, 49 11-16 99-910890 Suicidal Subject Subject sitting in vehicle took overdose of pills. Officers had to forcibly remove subject from vehicle and grasped her mouth area in an a~.empt to prevent ingestion of additional pills. 37 11-19 99-910992 Fight Subject resisted officers after being involved in a fight at a bar. Arm bar was applied to gain control to allow cuffing. 20, 3 11-21 99-911087 FightYTrespass Subjects were involved in a fight on property that previously they had been warned not to be at. One subject fled from officers who then caught him and placed him on ground to gain cont~col and to cuff. Second subject theo began to interfere with arrest. Second subject then resisted arrest and had to be taken to ground in an effort to gain conn-ol. Subject then was exposed to OC as be continued to fight. 20 11-22 99-911113 Open Container Subject fled from officer when approached for open containe~ of alcohol. Subject theu stopped and confronted officer. Officer exposed OFFICER DATE CASE # INCIDENT FORCE USED subject to OC. Subject then again fled. Subject caught and taken to ground to gain control and to cuff. 40, 16 11-22 99-911087 Fight/Trespass Subject being spoken to about prior trespass incident began fighting with officers. Subject taken to ground in attempt to gain control but subject continued to resist. Subject then exposed to OC. 58 11-23 99-911151 Fraud Subject confronted by officer about a fraud investigation. Subject then pushed a bystander and fled from officer. Subject fell and was caught by officer but subject continued to resist. Subject then exposed to OC. 16 11-27 99-911228 Fight] Vehicle Pursuit Subject fled scene of a fight in a stolen car. Subject refused to stop for officer who was using lights and siren. 94 11-28 99-911244 Assault Subject involved in altercation with another person at youth shelter. Subject would not respond to officer and attempted to leave. Officer grabbed subject and placed him on ground to gain control and to cuff. Officer drew sidearm while confronting wanted subject and he complied with arrest. Second subject struggled with officers and had to be taken to the ground to gain control and to be cuffed. 7,14 12-03 99-911420 Juvenile Warrant Juvenile refused to cooperate with officers who had a warrant for her. She had to be forcibly cuffed. Then she refused to walk to squad car and had to be carried. At the Sheriff's office the juvenile was able to free one of her hands from the eutts and tried to flee. Subject was caught by officer, taken to the ground and re cuffed. 84, 2 12-04 99-911437 Assault Officers responded to an assault and criminal mischief cail. On arrival suspect fled and had to be caught and taken to ground to be coifed. Subject resisted cuffing and was then exposed to OC 35 12-08 99-911562 PAULA Subject fled from officers when confronted and was then caught and cuffed. Subject had to forcibly led as he would not cooperate. 49 12-10 99-911682 Warrant Service Subject resisted officer when he was placed trader arrest. Subject taken to the ground to gain control. When tbreatened with use of OC subject finally cooperated. 49, 47 12-11 99-911720 Missing Juvenile Juvenile refused to cooperate with officers who had a pickup order. Once cuffed subject had to be led/came& Subject continued to t~y to kick and spit at officers. 48 12-12 99-911747 Warrant Service Wanted subject confronted at hotel OFFICER DATE CASE # INCIDENT FORCE USED where hc had bccn staying. Upon seeing officer hc attempted to flcc but was tackled and then cuffed without further incident. I 1, 12 12-14 99-911793 Intoxicated Subject Subject fled from officers when confronted about a disturbance. Subject was caught and taken to the ground and cuffed without further incident. Subject then had to be pushed into the squad car as he refused to get in. 54, 3 12-17 99-911900 Intoxicated Subject Subject confronted plain-clothes officers in an unmarked car and pounded on their window. When officers identified themselves, the subject tried to flee. Subject was then caught and taken to the ground to gain control and to cuff. 16 12-26 99-912152 OWl Subject arrested for OW1 began to struggle with officers while at the PD. Subject was taken to the floor to regain control. This happened twice. Subject then pulled away from officers again and ran into rear door of PD. 7 12-26 99-912153 Intoxicated Subject Subject arrested for intoxication taken to jail. Upon being removed from Squad car at jail the subject began kicking and spitting at officers. Subject was prevented from kicking and his face was pushed away to prevent him spitting on officers. 8 12-29 99-912202 Juvenile Warrant Juvenile fled from officer upon arrival at cotmty jail. Subject was caught had had to be graspod by arm to direct back to jail. Subject then began spitting at officer who turned her head away to prevent her from doing so. 36 12-30 99-912224 Stolen CarfPursuit Subject observed by officer in stolen car. On activating lights, subject fled in vehilce from officer. Low speed pursuit then took place. Subjecl lled from officer on foot after his vehicle hit a wall. Officer caught subject and then used OC to gain control as subject continued to straggle. 49 12-30 99-912239 Suicide Attempt Subject who had just taken overdose of OFFICER DATE CASE # INCIDENT FORCE USED pills and bleach began to walk away from officer when confronted. Officer grasped subject's ann and maintained conirol of it until ambulance arrived. 55 12-31 99-912259 Injtwed Deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidearm. 87 12-31 20004)00123 Suicide Attempt Subject standing and sitting on Iowa River bridge railing making threats of suicide.
