An officer info,ed ~e subject he was under a=est and ins~cted him to put his hands behind his back. The subject refused. ~e officer grabbed his arm, put it behind his back, and placed him in handcuffs. 35,48 02-13-00 2000-01469 Consent Search During a consent search of a subject, officers noticed an object in the subject's hand. Officers ~ought the item might be a ~ife, grabbed hold of his hands, and ins~cted him to drop the item. He refused and a~empted to turn toward an officer. ~e officer delivered ~o ~ee s~ikes to the subject's thigh, took the subject to the floor, and forcibly handcuffed him. 41 02-15-00 2000-01500 Injured Deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidea~. 58,60 02-16-00 2000-01542 Intoxicated Subject Officers placed a subject under a~est for public intoxication. Officers had to physically put the subject on ground and ~en place his a~s behind his back to be handcuffed. 30 02-17-00 2000-01559 Disorderly Conduct During an investigation of a fight at a high school, an involved subject said that she was leaving the school. An officer ins~cted her to stay, took hold of her a~, and aaempted to escort her to another part of the room. The subject jerked her arm upward and toward the officers' head. The officer placed the subject in a "bear hug" until she was handcuffed. 2000-01675 Intoxicated Subject An officer placed a subject under a~est of public intoxication. The subject refused to get in the pa~ol car. The officer a~empted to push him in and the subject began kicking at the officer with his feet. ~e subject was warned to stop kicking and refused. ~e subject was sprayed with OC. ~e subject was ~anspo~ed to the hospital for decontamination, again began fighting with the officer, and was again sprayed with OC. 35 02-20-00 2000-01684 Dmg Arrest During a search of a subject being arrested for possession of marijuana, officers asked the subject if he had anything else on his person. The subject's response and actions made the officer think he was reaching for a weapon. The officer grabbed the subject's arm and drew his sidearm. The subject was handcuffed. 59,38,17,56 02-22-00 2000-01752 Trespass An'est Officers informed a subject that he was under arrest for criminal trespass. The subject, who was holding onto a dog, refused to comply with instructions and said that he was not going to jail. The subject was sprayed with OC. A lengthy straggle with the subject ensued, during which officer's were able to gain control of the dog. The subject was taken to the ground, where he kicked one officer in the head. Officers used knee strikes, joint manipulation, pressure points, hands- on techniques, and OC to get the subject handcuffed. Once at the hospital for decontamination, the subject kicked out a patrol car window. 37 02-24-00 2000-01842 Fight Officers arrested a subject after a fight. The subject refused to turn around and put his hands behind his back for handcuffing. The officer used hands-on and a wrist flex to achieve handcuffing. The officer put the subject on the ground and handcuffed him, 26 02-28-00 2000-01950 Warrant Arrest Officers located a subject wanted on an arrest warrant, and a several block long foot chase ensued. The subject was located hiding under a set of steps. The officer was unable to see the subject's hands and drew his firearm. After being given instructions to move slowly while getting out, the subject made a sudden movement. The officer jumped on his upper torso, held him down, and handcuffed him. 1 02-29-00 2000-01981 Injured Deer Injured deer shot with officer's sidearm.
