HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-04-09 Public hearingr NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th day of April, 2013, in Emma J. Harvat Hall, 410 E. Washington Street, Iowa City, Iowa, or if said meeting is cancelled, at the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as posted by the City Clerk; at which hearing. the Council will consider: 1. An ordinance rezoning 0.78 acres of land located at 1105 S. Gilbert Ct. from Public (P1) to Intensive Commercial (CI- 1) zone. 2. An ordinance conditionally rezoning 2.12 acres of land located south of Highway 1, east of Ruppert Road from Intensive Commercial (CI -1) to Community Commercial (CC -2) zone. 3. An ordinance vacating air rights and subterranean rights for portions of public right -of -way located on George Street between Benton and Oakcrest Streets. 4. An ordinance amending Title 4 of the zoning code to modify the process for delineating woodland buffers and counting preserved trees and woodlands toward any tree replacement or mitigation requirements. Copies of the proposed ordinances and resolutions are on file for public examination in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Iowa City, Iowa.
