Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will
be held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at
7:00 p.m. on the 17th day of December, 2013, in
Emma J. Harvat Hall, 410 E. Washington Street,
Iowa City, Iowa, or if said meeting is cancelled, at
the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as
posted by the City Clerk; at which hearing the
Council will consider:
An ordinance conditionally rezoning
approximately 2.5 acres of land located at
21 W. Benton Street and 820 S. Riverside
Drive from Community Commercial (CC -2)
Zone to Overlay Planned Development -
Community Commercial (OPD -CC -2) Zone.
(REZ13- 00022)
Copies of the proposed ordinances and
resolutions are on file for public examination in the
office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Iowa City, Iowa.
Persons wishing to make their views known for
Council consideration are encouraged to appear
at the above - mentioned time and place.

Karen,
We are working on some changes due to some tenants we are working with. When we have this designed we
will set up a meeting with you. The overall concept and look will be the same, but there will be enough of a
change that we will have to redesign a portion of it and go through Planning and Zoning again as you mentioned
in your email.
Due to our schedules in the month of January we will plan to resubmit to Planning and Zoning in February so
we will need to with drawl at this time.
This is an important project and we have to get it right the first time. We appreciate all of the City's help and
look forward to making it work in 2014.
We hope the City understands and we appreciate how the City has worked with us in creating a great
redevelopment along the Iowa River!

of Iowa City will hold a public hearing on
December 17, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Emma J.
Harvat Hall of the Iowa City City Hall, 410 E.
Washington Street, Iowa City, Iowa, or if said
meeting is cancelled, at the next meeting of the
City Council thereafter as posted by the City
Clerk; at which hearing the Council will consider
a Resolution approving a purchase agreement
with Hy -Vee, Inc. for approximately .75 acres at
the northeast corner of the intersection of Prairie
Du Chien Road and N. Dodge St.
Copies of the proposed resolution are
available for public examination in the office of
the City Clerk, City Hall, Iowa City, Iowa.
