ITEM NO. 7 STRATEGIC PLAN - ESTABLISHING CITY'S STRATEGIC PLANNING PRIORITIES
FOR 2014 -2015.
Comment: The Strategic Plan outlines the City's primary areas of focus for the
upcoming two years. The City Council Members and City staff went through a formal
strategic planning process to identify, prioritize, and articulate the policy directions
which are represented in the final list of Council priorities. The Strategic Plan report
was included on the 12/17/2013 Council Packet.

ITEM NO. 8 CONTRACT FOR LOBBYING SERVICES — AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN
AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST A CONTRACT FOR LOBBYING SERVICES.
Comment: Since 2011 the City has contracted lobbying services with the Davis,
—— Brown, Koehn, Shors & Roberts, P.C. The City has had a positive experience with
their services and wishes to resign for another year of service with no changes in the
contract. This resooiilution authorizes the execution of contract.
