ITEM 4. UISG VICE CHAIR APPOINTMENT — MOTION APPROVING THE
APPOINTMENT OF EVAN MCCARTHY AS THE CITY COUNCIL ALTERNATE
LIAISON FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA STUDENT GOVERNMENT
(UISG) TO THE CITY COUNCIL UNTIL MAY 1, 2014.
Hayek: (reads item)
Throgmorton: Move the appointment.
Mims: Second.
Hayek: Moved by Throgmorton, seconded by Mims. Discussion?
Bramel: Real quick. Thank you, I'm really excited to bring Evan on board and
unfortunately he was unable to come here tonight due to some class that he had to
go too. Ah, but I'll be excited to welcome him on the 18th. Thank you.
Hayek: Thanks Alec. All those in favor say aye. (all ayes). Motion carried and we look
forward to welcoming Evan to the position.
Karr: Motion to accept correspondence.
Throgmorton: So moved.
