Comment: The City has been selected to participate in the University of Iowa's Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities program. The program is a "campus -wide effort at the University of Iowa to enhance the capacity of Iowa's communities to address the economic, environmental, and social - cultural issues they face today and build a more sustainable future" The resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute the program agreement.
