ITEM 1 a Roll Call
ITEM 2. JAZZ FESTIVAL BEVERAGE GARDEN - RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND SUMMER OF THE ARTS, INC. TO CHANGE THE STREET INCLUDING
the LOCATION WHERE ALCOHOL MAY BE SOLD DURING JAZZ FEST.
Comment: Due to the saturated ground, the main stage for Jazz Fest may not be
able to be located on the Pentacrest. Summer of the Arts, Inc. (SOTA) has an
agreement with the City to sell beer and native wines within a fenced off area on N.
Clinton St. during Jazz Fest. If the location of the stage is moved, SOTA would like
to move the site of the fenced off area from N. Clinton St. to Iowa Avenue. This
resolution authorizes the City Manager to sign amendments to the agreement. The
meeting will be canceled if the main stage remains on the Pentacrest.
