Dear City Clerk,
It is with great reluctance that I resign my seat on the Housing and Community Development
Commission. While the Committee is engaged in tremendous, forward looking work, I am unable to commit
the necessary time because of increased responsibilities at work.
Sincerely,
Peter Matthes

Not a problem. Just write up a quick resignation letter (one or two paragraphs). Please address the
letter /email to the City Clerk, but send to me. You might state due to work commitments, etc. This happens
every now and then. No worries.

Commission
Tracy,
I am unsure if my schedule is going to allow me to continue serving on the committee. I will be unable to
attend again this week because of travel and it is not fair to the others on the committee.
Is there an official way in which I need to remove myself from the committee?
Thanks
Pete
