Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will
be held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at
7:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of December, 2014, in
Emma J. Harvat Hall, 410 E. Washington Street,
Iowa City, Iowa, or if said meeting is cancelled, at
the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as
posted by the City Clerk; at which hearing the
Council will consider:
An ordinance rezoning approximately
51.03 acres from Interim Development —
Research Park (ID -RP), Research
Development Park (RDP) and Planned
Development Overlay- Highway
Commercial (0PD-CH1) to Interim
Development — Research Park (ID -RP),
Research Development Park (RDP) and
Planned Development Overlay- Highway
Commercial (0PD-CH1).
Copies of the proposed ordinances and
resolutions are on file for public examination in the
office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Iowa City, Iowa.
Persons wishing to make their views known for
Council consideration are encouraged to appear
at the above-mentioned time and place.

MUFFLER, INC AND JOHN C LINDER
SUBTRUST.
TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA, AND TO OTHER INTERESTED
PERSONS:
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council
of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will conduct a public
hearing on its intention to consider the proposed
conveyance of Auditor's Parcel 2014085, a portion
of the Old Benton Street right-of-way, to
Professional Muffler, Inc. and John C Linder
Subtrust at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th day of
December, 2014, said meeting to be held in the
Emma J. Harvat Hall in the City Hall, 410 E.
Washington Street in said city, or if said meeting
is cancelled, at the next meeting of the City
Council thereafter as posted by the City Clerk.
Any interested persons may appear at said
meeting of the City Council for the purpose of
making objections to and comments concerning
said conveyance.
This notice is given by order of the City Council
of the City of Iowa City, Iowa and as provided by
law.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF AUDITOR'S
PARCEL 2014085 TO PROFESSIONAL MUFF ER, INC AND JOHN C
LINDER SUBTRUST
WHEREAS, Noah Kem on behalf of Professional uffler, Inc., requested that
Auditor's Parcel 201408 also known as Old B nton Street right-of-way, be
vacated and conveyed to im to facilitate develop ent of the adjacent property;
and
WHEREAS, the City intends t convey via Quit Claim Deed the northern half of
said Auditor's Parcel to the J n C Linder S btrust, and the southern half to
Professional Muffler, Inc., subjec to a public a cess easement to allow access to
both of the adjacent properties, a well as t City -owned parcel along the Iowa
River, for $5 per square foot; and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends
