ITEM NO.2 CONSIDER A MOTION TO ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION TO
DISCUSS THE PURCHASE OF PARTICULAR REAL ESTATE ONLY
WHERE PREMATURE DISCLOSURE COULD BE REASONABLY
EXPECTED TO INCREASE THE PRICE THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY
WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT PROPERTY. THE MINUTES AND
THE TAPE RECORDING OF A SESSION CLOSED UNDER THIS
PARAGRAPH (Land Acquisition) SHALL BE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC
EXAMINATION WHEN THE TRANSACTION DISCUSSED IS
COMPLETED.
Hayek: Uh, I am not going to vote on this, nor am I going to participate in the Executive
Session. Uh, I don't ... the matter at issue ... or at hand I don't believe I have a...
and I know I don't have a legal conflict on but I think ... I'm ... I'm close enough to
those issues that the risk of a perceived conflict is, um ... uh, enough for me to not
participate. So, with that I will step aside!
