Hi Mike,
I have recently accepted a position at the Iowa Department of Public Health so I will be moving to Des Moines
in mid-June. While I am excited about this opportunity, I am sad that it means I'll be leaving the wonderful
Iowa City community and will have to step down from the Parks and Recreation Committee before my term is
over. I will be at the June meeting but I wanted to tell you as soon as I could over email so the open seat can be
posted. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me or if there is anything I can do to
help. I have greatly enjoyed being on the commission and working with you. I'm sure our paths will cross again!
