COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF COUNCIL ACTIVITIES
JUNE 13, 2016
Iowa City City Council special meeting, 6:15 p.m. at City Hall. Mayor
Throgmorton presiding. Council Members present: Botchway, Cole, Dickens, Mims,
Taylor, Thomas, Throgmorton. Staff members present: Dilkes, Karr.
Unless otherwise noted, all actions were affirmative and unanimous.
Moved by Mims, seconded by Botchway, to adjourn to executive session to
evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring,
performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and
irreparable injury to that individual reputation and that individual requested a closed
session. The Mayor declared the motion carried and adjourned into executive session
6:16 p.m.
Council returned to open session 7:30 p.m.
Moved by Mims, seconded by Botchway, to adjourn special meeting 7:31 p.m.
