Hello Kris and Tracy,
It is an exciting time for affordable housing in Iowa City, which is a fantastic development to behold. Unfortunately, I
have a lot of things pulling me in several directions in my life right now, and I am not able to be the type of housing
advocate I wanted to be, or even able to take the proper amount of time to review and invest in the workings of the
commission. I just don't feel like I have the time to make informed judgements or help the committee to think creatively
or take on outside tasks.
Therefore, I feel it is best for me to resign my position, and allow others with time and interest pursue the needs of this
community. I have faith the HCDC will be able to continue with out me.
Please advise of any further steps I need to take in giving up this position.
Thank you both very much for your incredible work, superb attention to detail, and tireless dedication to the needs of
our community. I hope to be able to serve on a board/commission at some point in the future.
I'm sure I will see you around the community!
