Perhaps you would also pass the information on to others who are especially concerned with the recreational needs of the physically and cognitively challenged. After all, the population on the autism spectrum has grown considerably of late as you know. I know Dr. Brenner would like your evaluation of this material - perhaps relevant for planning future mainstreaming initiatives in playgrounds, sports and recreation. This concerns the opportunity to serve the recreational needs of special populations which are often under -served - perhaps a pilot project for Willow Creek or Kiwanis Parks or at another park or playground near a school. "Setting aside the game's objective of addressing the needs of special populations, an important and novel aspect about Bankshot is its educational merit. The game offers an enriched play environment composed of a series of novel sport challenges that invigorate the brain with mind -nurturing play experiences. Bankshot's design is also intended to stimulate motor coordination in a dynamic kid -friendly, inclusionary game. Because of Bankshot's spatial relationships, particularly in geometrical composition and court design, the Bankshot court is part of a new genre in the art/play/think world of wonder. It combines creative and scientific elements to produce an advanced participatory art form for today's young person. Bankshot is pure physics: an exercise in translating science into action." (Florida Park & Recreation Quarterly) We, at the National Association for Recreational Equality, understand that providing for special populations and their families is a human rights and social justice issue. There are two 3 -minute YouTube videos and several photographs that have been sent along with this email. The first photograph is from the League for Autistic Adults in a community park in Rockville, MD. The third photograph is from the park in Sacramento, CA. Also see the photograph of the Bankshot Recreational System at the Phoenix Center School for students with autism in Nutley, NJ. We ask that you review these and the other materials and share with your associates as you see fit. There is nothing quite like experiencing firsthand the integration, socialization, and mainstreaming in recreation of the individuals with autism. These YouTube videos present participants from Montgomery County group homes and agencies attending the developmentally disabled and various other cognitively and physically challenged. These 3 -minute YouTube videos capture a sense of almost being there. The obvious deduction is that the desired outcome must be achieved through inclusion, not accessibility alone. In this sense, the ADA is leaning in the wrong direction because there is no point in access to exclusionary recreational facilities. 'With spontaneous drop-in inclusion Total -Mix diversity is achieved based on Universal Design. I encourage and invite you to view these 3 -minute YouTube of the individuals with autism. What are Bankshot Sports? Bankshot Family Sports (Bankshot Tennis, Bankshot Soccer, Tri Sport, Etc.) were designed to be self -competitive. Participants play alongside not against one another. These sports are characterized as Total -Mix diversity based on Universal Design. Bankshot basketball, for example, is the other basketball sport. Often called "miniature golf with a basketball." Played on a course laid out in any shape, recreation centers, parks, schools and museums (the Boston Children's Museum; Children's Museum of Memphis) are ideal placements for Bankshot achieving inclusion, socialization and integration of the differently able and all members of the community regardless of ability. For all levels of ability, inasmuch as there is no running or jumping, or aggression. And there are no opponents. A pure shooting sport whereat, age, stature, gender are irrelevant. Sports Illustrated covered an excellent story about the new sport which may be found on the Bankshot.com website. There are hundreds of Bankshot playcourts worldwide. Conceived for inclusion, integration and socialization, participants play the court like at bowling, golf and too few others. No body contact. The concept is play alongside not against others. We need not play sports solely to defeat opponents. There need not be opponents in the offense defense rivalries. Courts are indoors or outdoors and several museums including the Bridgeport Science Museum offer a Bankshot pavilion for the interactive convergence of sport, play and art. The importance of Bankshot is best understood as a drop-in, walk-on facility requiring no supervised programming and no staff necessary. We call Bankshot Family Sports, "Total Mix diversity based on Universal Design." Only a swimming pool rivals Bankshot in diversity of participation. Bankshot Sports are figure -it -out games requiring focus and concentration, intelligence, especially in understanding trajectories and calibration - a couple of science museums present Bankshot for teaching physics— (and a very soft touch). Little Jimmy in a wheelchair can go out with his brother Stevie on a given sunny day without waiting for a supervised program — that's important - for a drop-in facility as at a Bankshot court. What other sports facility could you think of which provides immediate walk-on access, inclusion and drop-in participation for everyone at a ball -playing sport? The exuberant sense of play, merging the obvious aspects of art understood as form and function - itself a heady mixture - suggests to a visitor that Reeve Brenner's Bankshot Playcourt is something of the legendary logic of Abstract Impressionism's immersion into the world of sports. Just imagine artists Paul Klee, Joan Miro and Wassily Kandinsky at a Bankshot Playcourt, with a basketball in their hands and seeing for the first time these striking geometries in bold inviting display. Also imagine famous sculptors Alexander Calder and Marcel Duchamp being asked to shoot a ball at these structures, which they inspired with whim and fancy. They might witness and bear testimony for themselves the transformation of art into the playful world of sports. It would be what Frank Stella, an abstractionist artist, called "form" transforming into an inclusionary affordance he called "function." The functionality these sport structures present to children and adults, who have never heard of this art form, will perhaps only be seen as a sport's challenge. But form, when Bankshot structures are viewed alongside Frank Stella's work, is at once evident. Besides, children of all ages, sizes, shapes and diversity, including physically and cognitively challenged, and wheelchair users, participate together achieving real socialization and integration of the community within the world of art and play. Bankshot's appearance provides a range of impetuously colored configurations, alternating with glowing abstract shapes and excursions relative to Picasso (when he was in his Cubist stage), Frank Stella's humongous -gigantic abstractionist structures (at the new Whitney Museum of American Art) and Alexander Calder's Stabiles. All the while participants are immersed in what Sports Illustrated, (in an article entitled the "Rabbi of Roundball"), referred to as an experience merging art with play: "With their odd shapes and bright colors, Brenner's bankboards have a surreal, futuristic look, like hoop saplings sprung from radioactive soil." Although, for the most part, created at the Wingate Sports Institute outside of Netanya, the Israel National Museum in Jerusalem was the fust international art museum, foreshadowing several others, to exhibit Bankshot as sports structures with the opportunity for play and participation. Available outdoor in the courtyard is a bin of basketballs in various sizes for visitors to choose from. Indoor, wall -hangings display Bankshot Bankboards merging art and play. Since then, the design department of The Museum of Modern Art in New York; the Boston children's Museum and the Bridgeport Connecticut Science Museum have placed Bankshot on permanent display indoors in space for that purpose. The Children's Museum of Memphis (CMOM) has begun construction of a Bank -around -the -circle Bankshot playcourt. Bankshot simultaneously art and play constitutes a kind of spiritual union formed within the surrounding post-modern space conceived as universal design and set aside for the socialization and the integration of a community. Find the article online here: http://www. playgro u nd professio na ls.com/news/press-releases/sports-structu res -sculpture -ba n kboa rds-ca Ider- picasso-ste I Ia 101 SELF -COMPETITIVE MAINSTREAMING: Sports Without Opponents Ball playing sports facilities and play spaces, including community fields, courts and courses, receive the greatest funding, attention, promotional support and real estate in our communities. These "mainstream" play spaces do not mainstream. They exclude the differently able, the physically and cognitively challenged, the mobility impaired and even mixed age and gender families. Stevie age 12 uses a wheelchair and his 10 year old brother Andy does not, and with their seven-year-old sister they'd like to go out and play ball together at a community playfield or playcourt on a nice Sunday at a nearby park facility like other kids without waiting for a program and adult supervision. They cannot. There are no inclusive mainstream sports that accomplish the matter of addressing the needs of the physically challenged. Nor their families. There are no drop-in, walk-on wheelchair accommodating ball playing sports in the community. There should be. We should recognize the facility shortages and the missing venues which bring about exclusion. Our community sports are composed of competing teams; most require physical contact, strength, size or stamina; they require comparable age participation and alignment and are gender exclusionary. The three siblings have no play -together opportunity participating at mainstream sports and games in the community. Programs, however excellently conducted, cannot replace facilities that are always walk-on, drop-in available and inclusive not merely accessible. Other youngsters do not have to wait till next Thursday for an activity or program that provides inclusive play. A fundamental requirement is that communities offer ballplaying sports fields and play spaces for the inclusion of the differently able, of the physically and cognitively challenged, and all individuals with disabilities, and that the sport be self competitive, not played against others but like bowling, golf and Bankshot - designed for that purpose - energizing and uniting a community by providing alongside play. Inclusive means alongside -play - equality achieved not by requiring rivals to defeat. But rather by providing a venue that unites and socializes the entire community at play. And that starts with the understanding that diversity is accomplished together side-by-side and by friendship, not face-to-face rivalry. Companionable participation also attracts and brings about diversity. No opponents are necessary; certainly not in every one of our mainstream sports venues communities provide today. A sport requiring no offense or defense permits full participation; one takes on the challenge of the court, not one another. Stevie and his family have just what they're looking for when provided with inclusive participation particularly at a sports facility which needs no aggression and no need to defeat opponents. Self competitive mainstreaming should be the first order of business when we plan our parks and their amenities. Bankshot in particular inspired by universal design was developed for the express purpose of alongside non -exclusionary play based upon achieving total mix diversity. June 4, 2015 1 don't know how happy we should be celebrating an ADA milestone birthday. The ADA as an enactment remains in large measure a distraction from and perhaps a distortion of the purpose of inclusion of the disabled. In the parks, there are a great many aggressive exclusionary ball playing fields which communities provide. What's the point of a ramp to them or access to them in that the access leads invariably to exclusion? When was the last time you saw a physically or cognitively challenged person or a teenager in a wheelchair waiting for next at a ball playing sport? Any ballplaying sport? Only at an atypical structured setup event. Not a drop-in inclusion opportunity. Others have at their convenience all the fast moving exclusionary ball playing sports communities provide as well as the space and budgets. Not the disabled. Not the physically or cognitively challenged. Accessibility often obscures inclusion. So we end up with ramps to exclusion. That is why, of course, we advocate for drop-in facilities like Bankshot not solely programs which segment rather than integrate the differently able. Facilities are much less costly in the long run than programs. We still think the best — and only so far — ball playing Total -Mix family sports based on Universal Design yet introduced are Bankshot Sports because they provide balance to the aggressive team sports which exclude the physically and cognitively challenged and their families. We need many more sports facilities like Bankshot not intended for superior athletes of the Special Olympics but for Kevin, who uses a wheelchair, and lives down the street. Where are they? I am writing you in state of near despair at the cavalier attitude local construction workers, and through inaction, our local government, display towards pedestrians and cyclists in Iowa City. I own a business on Prentiss St and for years now the area has been torn up and in complete disarray due to the many construction projects that have been going on down here. I could go on and on about this sidewalk closed, that sidewalk removed, this street closed, that street littered with construction debris. Or closed because a dump truck took out a power pole and shut off the whole neighborhood. If any one of you would like to have a meaningful conversation about the issue I welcome you to come down and see me at work, we can take a walk around and you can see for yourselves what a mess it is. But for now, I include 2 photos I have taken in the last week that show what I am talking about. I took this photo below last Thursday. A work crew closed the sidewalk, the sidewalk does not exist on the other side of the street. The road is closed north on Linn St with a sidewalk on the east side that they close at will, then the sidewalk on Court St is gone. This is an unacceptable situation with no attempts made to accommodate pedestrians. In any direction. This photo below I took just today. The workers are long gone, they have not been there all week. Seriously. But they left their signs in place that the sidewalk is closed. This is not an isolated incident, not by a long shot, this is a daily occurrance down here, and all over town if you look for it. Sadly it seems that no one at the city is charged with addressing these issues? Or maybe the city just doesn't care as long as the shiny new places to park cars keep going up? In speaking about the need for a commission member for the Senior Center, it was stated that the audience that packed the Council chambers for deliberation on the Senior Center a few years ago believed that Council wanted to close the Center. Yes, we certainly did, having heard then Councilor Dobyns suggest that it might need to be done because "we need to get this property on the tax rolls." However, following a study of ways the Center could stabilize, the financial situation improved and the matter cooled down. I believe City Council worked with the center to achieve this result and I thank you for taking that route. The Senior Center does welcome and provide for people of all ages. I don't know if you've ever had the opportunity to hear Family Folk Machine, a chorus that is sponsored by the center. Jean Littlejohn (who, by the way, would be a great commission member) leads this group, which performs music several times a year on various themes. The performers vary in age from 5 (yes, 5!) to advanced senior citizen range. The chorus is accompanied by instrumentalists—four or five adults, a couple of teens, and two younger people. The audience is equally varied in terms of age, with many families. Since they also rehearse at the Center, there is frequently a great mixing of the ages in that building. I would invite you to attend their next concert, and bring children and grandchildren with you. Check them out: www.familvfolkmachine.ore. Under an Iowa Arts Council grant, Family Folk Machine children and seniors have worked with The Awful Purdies musical group this year to learn song -writing. I wanted to make sure that you are up to date on the multigenerational aspect, because it's a great contribution to Iowa City. Thanks for reading! No response is necessary. A safe pedestrian walkway opened very soon after you and I talked. If it was you who accelerated that immediate and excellent solution, then I commend you for your leadership. Furthermore, I extend great thanks to you on behalf of those who's lives are no longer needlessly jeopardized by being required to walk dangerously close to fast moving Dubuque Street traffic. Speaker, agenda and registration for this Iowa Ideas symposium series can be found online at www.iowaideas.com Iowa Ideas is a statewide initiative offering symposiums, printed magazines, digital updates and a multiday September conference surrounding issues that continue to impact the economics and people of Iowa. On March 7, symposium attendees will share their perspectives and areas of knowledge related to the issue of Higher Education in the state of Iowa. Participants will be encouraged to review current research and case studies, consider information presented by topical experts, collaborate on possible solutions/ideas and determine resources required to achieve established goals. The results of this day will be step one in a series of discussions and interactions leading up to and through a multiday September conference. Speakers for the March 7 symposium include: • Laura Ingleby, Statistical Research Analyst with Iowa College Aid. Establishing groundwork for a discussion on cost, value, debt and more in today's higher education landscape. Iowa College Aid works to remove barriers to higher education and administers more than $68 million in state -funded, need -based scholarship, grant and loan forgiveness programs annually. • Christopher Morphew, Professor and Chair of the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership at the University of Iowa. A different vision for funding higher education. As Iowa's colleges and universities are relying more and more on tuition dollars, Morphew will propose ideas for diversified revenue streams and alternative funding opportunities. Social Event Post -Symposium -Technology Association of Iowa. Members of the Technology Association of Iowa will host their monthly TechBrew event at the Iowa City Brewlab starting at 5pm. This is a casual social event for entrepreneurs, technologists and business leaders with a special March edition in support of Iowa Ideas to encourage post -symposium networking. Hosted by the local Cedar Rapids media company The Gazette, the concept of Iowa Ideas arrived at a time when discussion about the media's role in how state issues are reviewed, interpreted and communicated were critical. "Iowa Ideas is designed to get past partisan politics," explains Zack Kucharski, Executive Editor of The Gazette. "It won't assume that everything we do today is obsolete or broken, because it's not. It will allow us to examine issues in unique depth- how we got to the current state, pursued to address some of the challenges, and how to scale them to respond to need." By the age of 12, I had randomly met Queen Elizabeth II (Head of the Masons), George W. Bush (Grandson of the Head of the Skull and Crossbones), and the Dalai Lama. I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. I went to school there during the Jerry Sandusky Scandal. In 1999, Joe Patemo fired Jerry Sandusky after his first non -guilty verdict; and, the Skull and Crossbones were kicked off of campus. The DA on the 3rd Trial of Jerry Sandusky disappeared; and, his car was found at the bottom of a lake with his hard drive missing from his computer. I started my career at a company called Technip. I worked on the ExxonMobil Billing Refinery. The BIRF was built by KBR. They are a Defense Contractor that used to be part of Halliburton. After the recession hit, two thirds of Technip's Staff was laid off. I worked for WEST Engineering Services after the Deepwater Horizon Exploded. They were in charge of third -party verification of Blow Out Preventers and Hydraulic Control Units. They are the pieces of equipment that failed on the Deepwater Horizon. Shear rams weren't tested in compression by Cameron. The LMRP disconnect had been fired from the control panel; however, it didn't work. The accumulators fired; however, they weren't able to cut the pipe. The pipe spiraled up in compression, and the shear rams on the Deepwater Horizon weren't able to cut the pipe. The Det Norske Veritas Deepwater Horizon Investigation Report didn't talk about how shear rams weren't tested with pipe in compression. I certified the first post-Macando Deepwater Exploratory Well Program, the Cardamom Deep; and, I helped market the company to the Senate Subcommittee in charge of the Deepwater Horizon Investigation. The Head of the Compliance Group was in the CIA. The Cardamom Deep was on the front page of the Houston Chronicle for having five lawsuits, and being the first plan of its kind approved since the Deepwater Horizon Incident. Greenpeace had a lawsuit against the Cardamom Deep. I had an interview with Marine Well Containment Systems (MWCS) after I worked with WEST Engineering Services. MWCS wanted me to back engineer their capping stack. They had constructed the capping stack without complete engineering in order to be able to drill in the Gulf of Mexico again after the Deepwater Horizon Exploded. After the 5th Trial of Jerry Sandusky, I wrote on a Houston Chronicle Blog that women were being taken advantage of at Penn State. The man that broke the Jerry Sandusky Scandal said that children were being pimped out of Penn State. The heads of the Skull and Crossbones are on Park Avenue; and, the Skull and Crossbones recruit for the CIA. US Steel was banned from campus when I went to school at Penn State. The Jerry Sandusky Scandal broke. The CIA is in the Media Industry. During the Jerry Sandusky Scandal, the Media Industry blamed Joe Patemo of not doing enough. However in 1999, Joe Patemo fired Jerry Sandusky after his first non -guilty verdict; and, the Skull and Crossbones were kicked off of campus. Joe Patemo was fired; President of US Steel, Rodney Erickson, became Interim President of Penn State; and, the Joe Patemo Statue was torn down. Penn State was one of the most liberal schools in the United States. The Jerry Sandusky Scandal was a Republican Takeover of Penn State. The CIA attempted to recruit me; and, I told them I wouldn't ever work for them. They told me that I could only talk about the recruitment process with my wife. I don't have a wife; 1 thought that they were infringing on my freedom of speech; and, I told my girlfriend and mother that the CIA was trying to recruit me. I went to a Rigzone Career Fair; and, I noticed a guy staring me down. Rigzone is the company that tried to recruit me for the CIA. He came up to me after the career fair, and said he worked for the NSA. I told him the CIA had attempted to recruit me. The NSA basically does the same thing as the CIA, domestically. I went on to work for Kellogg, Brown, and Root (KBR) as a Planner/Scheduler. I told the Hiring Manager, Ralph Daves, that one of my friends worked with Lou Pouker. Lou Pouker was the VP on a project were subcontractors unknowingly signed contacts with bonuses that were kicked back to the Nigerian Government. Lou Pouker fled the country the day the story broke, and was promoted to President of Shaw. One of my mentors, Paul Kramer, ended up scapegoating his own brother. His brother was a Planner/Scheduler. Ralph Daves was a Skull and Crossbone. I talked to my Project Manager, Martin Goodale, about watching a documentary on Jamie Leigh Jones (Hot Coffee). She agreed to take a job with Halliburton (KBR) during Operation Iraqi Freedom at the age of 20 years old. She was promised to be housed with 2 women. When she arrived in Iraq, she was placed in a barracks where the ratio of men to women was 20:1. She complained of sexual harassment on two separate occasions. Management told her to "get over it." One morning she awoke beaten, disfigured, bleeding between the legs, and with bruised wrists. A man was in the bottom bunk. She suspected he had been the one to drug, rape, and batter her. She was locked in a Cones. Box guarded by two officers in 1307 Imqi Heat. An Army Doctor examined her; however, the rape kit was lost by the time of trial (KBR threw out my urination test for employment with them). During this time period, KBR was having a conference call. She was able to sneak a call to her Congressman, and she was rescued from KBR by the US Department of Defense. She was given two options. She had the option to stay employed with KBR or to be terminated.... She tried to pursue a criminal case and civil suit against KBR; however, a mandatory arbitration clause had been placed in her contract. This clause prevented her from bringing KBR to court for 6 years. She went public in order to expose this loophole. Others had come forward about victimization, and she was very concerned that abuse would continue to go on and on. She continued to relive the event through flashbacks and nightmares. Senator Al Franken pushed an amendment to the 2010 Defense Appropriations Bill. This amendment penalizes companies that restrict claims of sexual assault and discrimination to arbitration. When I signed my contract at KBR, there was nothing of any sexual nature in my mandatory arbitration clause. When I started to get together my case against KBR, CIA, NSA, and Secret Societies in October, 2015;1 continued to "relive" events through "flashbacks" and "nightmares (Cognitive Computing and Brain Powered Machine Learning)." I was given a notice that Junior Achievement was looking for people from KBR to volunteer. I spoke with the woman who was running the charity, talked about being from Penn State, and how I had met Joe Patemo. She immediately went up to the CEO and said, "We have one from Penn State. I think we have a problem." KBR's CEO stared me down. I told one of my mentors at KBR that I was in Slovenia for the birth of their Democracy, and in the Hague for the Trial of Milosevic. The borders to Slovenia had recently opened, due to the fall of the Soviet Union. Some of my cousins served in the Slovenian Armed Forces, and fought for independence from Yugoslavia in the now famous "bloodless civil war." My mentor told me that he was in Yugoslavia with KBR during the civil war. He looked like he was going to cry, and wouldn't say anything. Tesla invented electric oscillators; meters; improved lights; and the Tesla coil. He also experimented with X-rays, gave short-range demonstrations of radio communication; and is known for experimenting with mind control. Tesla worked with Root at the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. Tesla helped Root and the American Military develop the technology to send different wavelengths of radio to one's head, forcing him or her to hear the voices of their friends, family, coworkers, and frat brothers. The CIA contacts your friends, family, mentors, and frat brothers when they try to recruit you; asks them questions about your life; and, the CIA creates a psychological profile. The Skull and Crossbones, CIA, and KBR used the same technology in Sarajevo that Root developed by experimenting on Herbert Hugh Holmes in the White City. America's first serial killer, Herbert Hugh Holmes, was tried at Penn Square in Philadelphia. Holmes gave various contradictory accounts of his life, initially claiming innocence and later that he was possessed by Satan. The Skull and Crossbones worship Satan. KBR worked in Sarajevo on the mountains surrounding the city. People in Sarajevo would knock on people's doors, wait for them to answer, and shoot them; and put body parts on walls. In 1895 Tesla's New York lab burned, destroying years' worth of notes and equipment. Tesla lived in the Waldorf Astoria with FDR; and, he gave schematics for the death ray to Serbia to prevent Army Special Forces, the precursor to the CIA, from being able to use them. My computer was hacked into at KBR; the Department of Homeland Security started to follow me home; and, hitmen would track me down on the bayou behind my house. I resigned from KBR; because, I wasn't able to get any work done. Before I worked for KBR, I worked for a company called Ref -Chem. I bought a Hybrid Toyota Prins V, and I showed it to two engineers at Ref -Chem. They laughed and said, "I don't know if we'll be able to work on this one." After I resigned from KBR, I was cut off on the road. My hybrid motor stalled, and I was t -boned. I died and Adrenaline was released; and, I came back to life. The Defense Industry has had the technology to automate cars, and it is starting to come out to the public. I think someone installed something on my car that allowed them to stall my Hybrid Motor. I moved to New York City, and had interviews with Turner, Tishman, and Skanska. They are the General Contractors on the World Trade Center. I had 15 interviews with Skanska; and I wrote them some e-mails talking about how I am qualified to work with them, and why they shouldn't lead people on. One of the a -mails talked about how Turner is building the World Trade Center, and going on to work with Saudi Bin Laden to build the world's tallest building, Kingdom Tower, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Since the two towers fell on 9/11, I thought it was hypocritical that they would work with Bin Laden. I said the world's tallest building should be built in Central Park. These e-mails were sent to Littler. Littler is a company that either ruins people's careers or sends whatever they are given on to the government. 1 also had an interview with the Client Representative, STV. STV is another Defense Contractor. My e-mails were sent to the government; and in February 2015, the Bilderberg Group, Skull and Crossbones, CIA, NSA, FBI, KBR, Turner, Skanska, Church of Scientology, Bill O'Reilly, Barack Obama, Jeb Bush, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Council on Foreign Relations, etc... Skyped into my television and attempted to recruit me. 1 said that I want to start a three party system in America. I want to start a political party called the Pink Party. The point of life is to have a good time; the motto is "support and comfort for all;" and, I want the Victoria Secret Angels to sponsor my party. I said that I want the world's tallest building to be built in Central Park. My Capstone Teacher at Penn State designed the tallest building in the world, Bud Khalifs. In the 1950's, Frank Lloyd Wright came up with a design for a 300 story skyscraper; and I have been speaking with people at the local, state, federal, and international level to start construction of "Mile High Tower" in Central Park. The Great Lawn has the necessary soil structure to build a center stone monument for New York City that represents peace and order in the world. Close vicinity to the Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art ties beliefs from different cultures from over the world with the message this tower represents (stability, compassion, pride, beauty, determination, flexibility, respect, environmentalism, sustainability, worth, idealism, inspiration, responsibility, love, and hope). The building will be self -sustainable and draw from different technologies. For instance, oil & gas, solar, and wind power. An environmental sanctuary encompassing numerous floors will house all sort of plants and wildlife brought from over the globe. A subterranean transportation complex is to unite all the 5 boroughs and North Jersey to the tower. A shopping mall similar to what was under the Twin Towers will be built into the transportation complex; and area on the lawn used for recreational events will be upgraded to support different sporting events. The idea is to have an area where people can come to enjoy themselves, learn, and influence the world's leaders in a positive manner. I said that George Prescott Bush attempted a coup when FDR was President. George Prescott Bush was the head of the Skull and Crossbones; and, their goal was to install a fascist dictator in America. KBR worked at the Brooklyn Naval Yard. FDR sat down with George Prescott Bush, and decided to forgive him. I said that I knew that the Skull and Crossbones gave FDR Polio. The same version of Polio that FDR had was created in a lab on monkeys the same way AIDS was. The Skull and Crossbones are in the Medical Industry. Scientists identified a type of Chimpanzee in Central Africa as the source of HIV infections in humans. AIDS has existed in the United Stated from the mid to late 1970's. In 1977, George Bush Sr. became Director of the CIA; and, AIDS started in America in New York City in the West Village. I said that it has been difficult for African Countries to get the rights to their oil, because Oil & Gas companies report higher reserves than are actually in the reservoirs. They then convinced leaders to take out loans from Wall Street. The wells didn't produce as much as was stated in the exploratory report, and they were forced to pay back loans on Wall Street. These countries were unable to pay their debt to Wall Street, because of the false reports given by the Oil & Gas Companies. I said that Lee Atwater was my favorite politician. Lee Atwater was Ronald Reagan's Political Campaign Coordinator, and George Bush Sr.'s Campaign Manager. I mentioned that I had watched Boogie Man; The Lee Atwater Story; and that I knew he was given Lou Gehrig's Disease, and died on his death bed trying to make peace with the "gods." They said, "We have godlike powers." Lee Atwater died after a yearlong fight against a brain tumor that struck him at the peak of his political success and power. I said I know that the military is letting the war in Syria, Jordan, and Iraq go on; because, KBR wants to rebuild the refineries that ISIS has destroyed. They asked me how I felt about gay men being in the military. I said it would be hypocritical to prevent gay men from joining the military, because the military practices Spartan Traditions. The Spartans believed that homosexuality encouraged comradery. John McCain said, "We're sorry for what we're about to do to you." Bill O'Reilly asked if I would go to "War." They tried to force me through the intelligence process; coerce me into working with the CIA; start the Pink Party as a Republican; and give KBR and Turner a contact on the world's tallest building in Central Park. My mom called and said, "The plumbers are coming. Understand?" A plumber from Roto Rooter came to my house; a line to the washing machine was disconnected, and water was all over the floor; and I assumed the plumber was sent to start an electrical fire. The plumber came back, and he may have put something in the water. I went to get a glass of water, and when I came back Congress motioned me to drink the water. I started to feel sick all at once as if I had Pneumonia. 1 was sent an e-mail from the Rasweiler Group. They told me that my father had a trust fund with ExxonMobil. They asked me to come to a conference in Clinton, NJ at the Clinton House to inherit it. I knew it was fraudulent, because my father worked for Union Carbide. My father didn't work with ExxonMobil, and 1 decided that it would be best to tum down the offer. I didn't want to accept any money that may be considered fraudulent. When 1 told them I wasn't going to show up, they said that they had made a mistake. When the CIA attempts to recruit you, they try to coerce you into working with them. The CIA starts the recruitment process at age 16. My friend who has family in the CIA, and is related to Benito Mussolini, gave me my first hit of Marijuana when I was a Sophomore at Katy Taylor High School. The CIA has a history of bringing drugs into the United States and selling them to the mafia and gangs. I had a roommate, Paul Steinitz, who said he wanted to join the CIA, and had an uncle that was a NAZI. George Prescott Bush and Brown Brothers Harriman funded the NAZIS. The NAZIS were brought into the CIA after World War II. The NAZIS helped the CIA develop the way they torture people with the technology they have been using on me. Paul Steinitz assaulted me; 1 went to court on March 12, 2015; two people that Skyped into my television with the Bilderberg Group, Skull and Crossbones, CIA, NSA, FBI, KBR, Turner, Skanska, etc. showed up at the Jersey City Municipal Court to represent Paul Steinitz. The warrant presented differed from the police report; and, the police report and photographs of the assault weren't presented. I didn't assault Paul Steinitz; however, they filed counter -assault charges. I was poisoned in Washington D.C. the day before the trial; and, I wasn't able to defend myself. My computer at home and account at Pace University were hacked into; I've had problems at the New York Public Library; my identity was stolen, and my checking and credit card accounts were hacked into; my iPhone was hacked into; my Gmail, Live, Linked In, Pandora, You Tube, and Netflix accounts were hacked into; I was put on a segregated feed; and they commit idea theft by using Wi-Fi, Cognitive Computing, Brain Powered Machine Learning, and Ultraparanoid Computing. E-mails were deleted from my Gmail and Live Accounts that talked about my invention and business ideas, and the trust fund they offered me. They have been gang -stalking me; and are giving me death threats, and attempting to make me commit suicide. I was poisoned multiple times; and I developed a tumor in my Frontal Lobe the size of a pearl. A Cytokine Storm was released; they used Telemedicine; and, the tumor disappeared. I was assaulted and wrongfully arrested multiple times. The NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau consists of former members of the FBI and CIA; and the Skull and Crossbones recruit for the CIA. I was wrongfully arrested by the NYPD, and assaulted by the Central Park Rangers. I think one of my mentors at KBR or another Skull and Crossbone called the NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau, and had me assaulted and wrongfully arrested. I spoke with someone at the NYPD. He said the CIA attempted to recruit him, but he didn't want to be a slave. The Federal Supreme Court referred me to the District Court; and, I gave the Pro Se Office my case on May 19, 2016. In September, I appealed at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I have called most of the law firms in New York City, and the New York City Bar Association. Henry Kissinger is a participant of Bilderberg 2015; and, Hillary Clinton was selected to be President. The New York City Bar Association said lawyers would be intimidated by the Bilderberg Group; and, I am still looking for a lawyer and being harassed. Some of the same individuals that belong to the Council on Foreign Relations are participants of the Bilderberg Group. The United Nations was founded by the Council on Foreign Relations. The NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau said there is no federal agency that can help end the harassment, and referred me to the Senate. I gave some senators and representatives a privacy release for my case. In order to be my Public Defender; the Bilderberg Group, Skull and Crossbones, CIA, NSA, FBI, KBR, Turner, Skanska, etc... are still gang - stalking me; and using Cognitive Computing, Brain Powered Machine Learning, and Ultraparanoid Computing. In order to have a fair trial, I need the harassment to end. The harassment occurred in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Texas, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington DC. I have attached my cover letter, resume, case summary, and Motion to Recall the Mandate from the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Please forward this to whomever you think can help end the harassment. I would like to send you my case, and set up an appointment to speak with you. I am available any day and time. Feel free to call or e-mail me anytime with comments or questions. Sincerely, Jason Robert Brinker Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering The Pennsylvania State University (281)723-1555 j asonrbrinkera¢mai I.com To whom this may concern, I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an emphasis in structural engineering. My career began as a Field Engineer on the ExxonMobil Billings Refinery. There, I took on risk management; procurement, construction management and engineering; and health, safety, and environment roles. Many changes to construction of the selective catalytic reduction, sour water stripper, ammonia, and peroxide units under development came through me on-site; and, I would perform preliminary estimates, gauge project scheduling impact, and facilitate close-out of any project deviation notice. After the Deepwater Horizon Incident, I decided to pursue a contract with WEST Engineering Services that would allow me to continue to develop knowledge in other areas of engineering. Working with numerous operators, contractors, and manufacturers towards third -parry verification of BOP and their control systems in a post-Macando environment taught me the importance of time -management and flexibility in a volatile market. During my time at WEST, I had the honor of certifying the first post- Macando, deepwater, exploratory well program to drill in the Gulf of Mexico. Working with the CEO and our lobbyist to market the company to the senate was also laid upon my shoulders. In January of 2012,1 became a Project Engineer with Ref -Chem, LP. At the time, they were undergoing a corporate expansion. The project team facilitated the move to 3D modeling with CADWorx and Kubit Point Cloud. I created Ref-Chem's first detailed EPC schedule in Primavera Scheduling; and, it serves as a baseline template for use on future projects. With the Sr. Program Manager and VP of Engineering, I assisted in creation and implementation of Ref-Chem's first project monthly review template. As required, applicable guidelines and procedures were updated to reflect Ref-Chem's evolution. In addition to my overhead work tasks, I coordinated the engineering & design of Schenectady International's Franklin Biphenol Expansion Project. Responsibilities included conducting design reviews; performing pipe and valve take -offs; and, approval of equipment data sheets and specifications. Piping; civil and structural; and electrical, instrumentation, and controls drawings were also under my scope of approval. I was also responsible for creation and maintenance of the engineering estimate, risk plan, cost plan, etc.... Most recently, I worked with KBR as a Planner/Scheduler to develop Implementation, FEED, and Construction Schedules for the $200 million dollar revamp of the existing ammonia plant, and grassroots construction of urea melt and granulation plants at Agrium's Borger Nitrogen Operations Plant. At both grade levels, we assess students on their effective and ethical use of Information - paraphrasing what they learn In their notes, citing their sources, and evaluating the sources they use. By collecting this assessment data from every student at SEJH, we are able to change our Instruction to meet their needs and share with other teachers potential areas of focus. The developer of the subdivision is preparing the land for dedication to the City of Iowa City in accordance with the originally adopted subdivision plans. City forestry staff has worked closely with the developer to identify the trees that are appropriate for preservation. Those that were not identified are being removed. The primary reason for removing the trees and vegetation is to ensure the creek functions properly and can be effectively maintained in future years. Other portions of the same creek do have volunteer growth and it is likely at some point in the future that the City will need to selectively remove that growth for the same reason. Our Parks and Recreation Director will be reaching out to you to answer any remaining questions you may have. In our neighborhood there is a creek with a number of large healthy trees alongside a mixed-use path. On Tuesday when I returned home from work I noticed that the north -most part of the creek had been clear cut. I immediately started calling the city to get some answers. Long story short they said the land doesn't belong to them yet, but will be turned over by the developer (Southgate) to become city -owned green space. The city sent a list of items that need to be addressed concerning waste (overturned car, farm equipment, rusty metal, etc), and apparently also identified some invasive species that need to be removed. Southgate's solution is apparently to clear cut the entire area. I've spoken to my neighbors and nobody was informed that Southgate would be removing all of the trees. Everyone I met with last night was shocked to hear that the large healthy trees were to be removed. We have attempted to bring light of this to the city but they have yet to respond. The most confusing aspect is that the next block over the same creek was left intact in the current city -owned green space. We are asking that they adopt the same policy for this section. I've attached photos of their work in progress, as well as a number of email chains including Southgate and the city forestry officials, outlining what the city told Southgate to remedy and Southgate stating that the city wants them to clear most of the trees. We have yet to receive confirmation from Zac Hall that the city's intent is for most of the trees to be removed. uncleared areajpg and cleared_area.jpg show the extent of what has been removed and what is next to be removed. to_be_cleazed.jpg and existingreen_space_one _block _overjpg show the city -owned green space that was left intact and the area that is to be clear cut. These two photos were taken from the same spot facing two different directions. I am reaching out to a numbers of organizations and news outlets that can get involved and help us save this creek and wooded area before they destroy it. Time is of the essence since the equipment is in place and Southgate says they will be proceeding this week. I will be going door to door and speaking to my neighbors this evening to let them know that Southgate plans on removing "most all" of the trees. I hope that most of my neighbors find this as unsettling as I do, and if so I will be encouraging them to voice their concerns. As I previously pointed out this stands in contrast to the block between Gustav and Court street where the trees along the creek appear to have been left intact. The impression that I am getting based on what we discussed on the phone it sounded like you directed Southgate to remove overgrowth/invasive species/etc, and they decided it would be easier to just cut everything down. If this is indeed the case and they cut down more trees than those you identified to them Will there be any consequences? I'm sorry to be a nuisance but it upsets me that the city would be complacent in removing full-grown healthy trees from along a creek in what is to become city -owned green space. I hope that you will do everything within your power to keep Southgate from removing trees unnecessarily. Please feel free to reach out to me to address any of my concerns. Executive Summary: As directed by Title 9, Chapter 1, Section 3B of the City Code, this is to advise the City Council of the following action. Pursuant to Section 9-1-3A (5); Install (2) YIELD signs on the northeast and southwest corners of the Westgate Street and Calvin Avenue/Court intersection. Background / Analysis: This action is being taken to assign the right-of-way at the uncontrolled four-way intersection to make negotiating this intersection more predictable for the traveling public. The City's recent policy has been to assign the right-of-way to one street at all four-way intersections. This particular intersection was constructed before that policy was implemented; therefore, YIELD signs are being installed to clearly identify the right-of-way.
