RESOLUTION NO. I: 1
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO SIGN AND THE SECRE-
TARY TO ATTEST A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE AIRPORT IMPROVE-
MENT RESERVE FUND TO THE IOWA CITY CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has requested assistance from the Airport
Commission of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, to fund the John Dane condemnation settlement; and
WHEREAS, acquisition of property for improvements at the Iowa City Municipal Airport is an
authorized use of the Airport Improvement Reserve Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has agreed to provide the local share of
matching funds up to $100,000 annually for State and Federal capital improvements projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA, that the Chairperson is hereby authorized to sign and the Secretary to attest a transfer
of funds from the Airport Improvement Reserve Fund to the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa,
in the amount of $88,451 .
It was moved by Ockenfels and seconded by Hamilton the Resolution be

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO SIGN AND THE SECRE-
TARY TO ATTEST TO AN AVIGATION EASEMENT APPRAISAL REVIEW
CONTRACT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the Airport Commission of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, has contracted with the firm of
Carlson, McClure and McWilliams, Inc. to conduct the primary avigation easement appraisals for
runways 17, 35 and 24 at the Iowa City Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration requires a review process for avigation easements;
and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Transportation has agreed to provide the appraisal review for a
reasonable cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA,that the Chairperson is hereby authorized to sign and the Secretary to attest to a contract
with the Iowa Department of Transportation for a review of the avigation easement appraisals
conducted by Carlson, McClure and McWilliams, Inc.

RESOLUTION NO. R-003
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO SIGN AND THE SECRE-
TARY TO ATTEST TO A GRANT AGREEMENT, PROJECT NO. 17-0047-0017, FOR
SECURITY FENCING AT THE IOWA CITY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BETWEEN THE
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE AIRPORT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Iowa City Airport Commission to provide a safe environment for the
aviation and public users of the Iowa City Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, security fencing in designated areas will provide added security and separation between
land side and air side use areas of the airport; and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Transportation has agreed to fund 70% of the security fencing
project #17-0047-0017, up to an amount of $6,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA, that the Chairperson is hereby authorized to sign and the secretary to attest to a grant
agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for security fencing at the Iowa City Municipal
Airport.

RESOLUTION NO. R-004
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO SIGN AND THE SECRE-
TARY TO ATTEST TO AN AMENDMENT TO A GRANT AGREEMENT, PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has determined it to be in the best interest of the
United States that the grant agreement, as amended, between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of
the United States, and the Iowa City Airport Commission, Iowa City, Iowa, accepted by the Airport
Commission on September 23, 1988, be amended as hereinafter provided; and
WHEREAS, it is determined necessary to further amend the description of the development to be
accomplished under the project, to delete rehabilitation of apron pavement, and to increase the grant
amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA, that the Chairperson is authorized to sign and the secretary to attest to an amendment
to grant agreement for project #3-19-0047-01 to amend the description of the project to delete the
rehabilitation of apron pavement and to increase the grant amount by $4,213.75.

RESOLUTION NO. R-006
RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CORPORATE
HANGAR LEASES AT THE IOWA CITY AIRPORT
WHEREAS,the Airport Commission of the City of Iowa City, Iowa,and Interwest Equities,J.M.Swank,
Inc., and the Iowa City Flying Service are negotiating proposed leases of hangar space on the Iowa
City Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, since the term of each said proposed lease is for more than three years, it is necessary
to hold a public hearing on said proposed leases prior to disposal of public property by said lease.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, IOWA:
1. That it is the intent of the Airport Commission to secure a five year lease with Interwest
Equities, J.M. Swank, Inc. and Iowa City Flying Service.
2. That a public hearing on said proposed corporate hangar leases will be held before the Airport
Commission in the Iowa City Transit Facility, 1200 S. Riverside Drive, Iowa City, Iowa, at 7:00
p.m. on January 15, 1991.
3. That the Airport Manager is directed to publish notice of said public hearing pursuant to
Section 364.7, Code of Iowa, and to provide copies of said proposed corporate leases to the
City Clerk's Office for public inspection at least four days prior to said public hearing.

RESOLUTION NO. R-007
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO SIGN AND THE SECRE-
TARY TO ATTEST A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH DYKSTRA NURSERY, CORP.
DBA IOWA CITY LANDSCAPING.
WHEREAS, the Iowa City Airport Commission of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, and Dykstra Nursery,
Corp. dba Iowa City Landscaping, have negotiated a lease agreement regarding the lease of a 100
foot by 200 foot parcel of property located in the northwest quadrant of the Iowa City Municipal airport
for a term of one year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IOWA
CITY, that the Chairperson is hereby authorized to sign and the Secretary to attest said lease
agreement with Dykstra Nursery, Corp. dba Iowa City Landscaping.
