If you sign up to have your City utility bills paid with SurePay, you won’t have to worry about getting your check in the mail on time or accruing extra fees for late payments — because with SurePay, your payment will be taken directly from your bank account each month. Your payment will never again be late, lost or forgotten. When you use SurePay, you’ll receive an email or paper statement every month that tells you how much you’ll be charged and on what date. How to sign up: Fill out the application form at www.icgov.org/utilities. Your application will be processed in two to three weeks. While your account is being set up, be sure to submit payment for any bill that does not include the word “SurePay” in the “total balance due” box. Any changes to your bank or utility account will require a new SurePay application. Questions? Call the Iowa City Revenue Division at 319-356-5066, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. 2-18 Take the Community Climate Action Survey Provide direction for Iowa City’s first ever Climate Action and Adaptation Plan!
