6.b. Elevator Maintenance Services
Resolution authorizing the procurement of Elevator
/ - 2- O Maintenance Services.
Comment: This Resolution will approve the procurement of Elevator
Maintenance Services from Schumacher Elevator Company. The contract
will be for three years, with an option to renew for an additional three years.
Three proposals were received using the formal request for proposal
process. During the initial 3-year contract period this purchase will exceed
the $150,000 spending authority of the City Manager, thereby requiring
Council approval. Over the course of this 3-year contract, the City expects to
expend approximately $180,000 - $200,000, on preventative maintenance
and service calls.
6.c. Laserfiche Document Management
I Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign and the City Clerk
to attest to the renewal of a contract for the Laserfiche
software for document management.
Comment: The R&D Computer Systems, LLC contract for document
management is estimated to cost $44,000 each contract period. Staff
believes R&D Computer Systems, LLC fee request is reasonable and
recommend that the City Council approve the renewal of the contract for
these services. The contract allows for annual renewals, which staff intend to
exercise. Because expenditures greater than $150,000 for commodities and
operational service contracts require approval by the City Council, staff is
seeking Council approval.
