Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will
be held by the City Council of Iowa City, Iowa, at
7:00 p.m. on the 41" day of September 2018, in
Emma J. Harvat Hall, 410 E. Washington Street,
Iowa City, Iowa, or if said meeting is cancelled, at
the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as
posted by the City Clerk; at which hearing the
Council will consider:
An ordinance amending Title 14, Zoning
of the Iowa City Municipal Code related
to required retail storefronts in the
Riverfront Crossings Central Crossings
subdistrict (ZCA18-00001)
Copies of the proposed ordinances and

storefronts in the Riverfront Crossings Central Crossings Subdistrict

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IOWA

Section 1. Title 14 of the City Code of the City of IowaC Iowa is hereby amended by

Recommendation
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends adoption of
the following proposed amendment to 14 -2G -36-2d of the Iowa
City Municipal Code by the City Council:
Residential uses ore not allowed within required retail storefronts,
as specified in the riverfront crossings regulating plan, except in
the Centrol Crossings Subdistrict for housing subsidized by a

HICKORY HILL PARK TRAILS, BRIDGES AND SIGNS PROJECT
IN THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA
TO ALL TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF IOWA CITY, IOWA, AND TO OTHER
INTERESTED PERSONS:
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, will con-
duct a public hearing on plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost for the
construction of the Hickory Hill Park Trails, Bridges and Signs Project in said city at 7:00
p.m. on the 4th day of September, 2018, said meeting to be held in the Emma J. Harvat
Hall in the City Hall, 410 E. Washington Street in said city, or if said meeting is cancelled,
at the next meeting of the City Council thereafter as posted by the City Clerk.
The Project includes clearing and grubbing, removal, replacement and relocation of
secondary aggregate trails, stormwater and erosion control improvements, construction of
three new pedestrian bridges, PCC trailhead and sidewalk improvements, and signage
and wayfinding improvements.
Said plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost are now on file in the office
of the City Clerk in the City Hall in Iowa City, Iowa, and may be inspected by any interested
persons.
Any interested persons may appear at said meeting of the City Council for the purpose of
making objections to and comments concerning said plans, specifications, contract or the
cost of making said improvement.
