Downtown Historic Survey Presentation
Senior Planner Russett provided a brief introduction for Alexa McDowell from AKAY Consulting.
Russett also noted that McDowell gave the same presentation the night before at the Old Capitol Town
Center to approximately 45 members of the community.
Alex McDowell, AKAY Consulting, gave a PowerPoint presentation on the Downtown Historic Survey
report and recommendations. Historic Preservation staff Bristow provided additional information.
Individual Council members expressed their views.
Action: Staff will present the report and its recommendations from McDowell and convey the City
Council comments back to the Historic Preservation Commission. The Commission will review the
report, provide public input opportunities, and provide the City Council with their recommendations.
