BUDGET OVERVIEW AND HIGHLIGHTS Mayor Teague and City Manager Fruin thanked members of the public for attending breakfast on a budget which preceded the meeting and thanked staff and Council for all the time and effort that will be put into the budget prior to submitting to the state. City Manager Fruin reviewed the budget review schedule, the budget document, fund structures, population growth, and budget goals from the August 20, 2019 budget work session. Assistant to the City Manager Andrew reviewed long term budget planning concerns. Assistant City Manager Monroe reviewed revenues and expenditures. Assistant to the City Manager Andrew reviewed the debt service levy. City Manager Fruin wrapped up with an analysis and summary of the budget, and next year's budget. [Power point of FY2021 Budget coincided with overview.] Finance Dir. Bockenstedt and Budget & Compliance Officer Fleagle present for discussion. Department budgets were presented as outlined on the agenda (IP2 of 01/02/20 Info Packet); and page number in parenthesis refers to pages in the Proposed Financial Plan (12/20/19 Info Packet). Power points of organization charts for the City departments were shown and archived.
