Washington Counties. Funds no longer available.
• City expects an additional $686,610 from State in
CDBG-CV funds. Waiting guidance on funding
limitations and requirements.
General Assistance reports drops in assists in last
quarter of FY20 compared to same time period in
FY19:
• Gas/electric assists down 84%
• Water assists down 67%
• Rent assists down 16%
Possible reasons: Stimulus funds, unemployment benefits,
other aid, family assistance, loans, credits cards, etc. Expect
increased requests once CARES Act unemployment benefits
and eviction moratorium ends.
