Don’t get towed during a City Snow EmergencyWhen an Iowa City Snow Emergency is declared because of extreme snow conditions, on-street parking will be restricted so that snowplows can get streets cleared. Vehicles parked on the street in violation of the ordinance can be ticketed $50 and towed. Costs for the ticket and tow can exceed $200. Please plan ahead for Snow Emergencies!
